TallyRobotics is recruiting volunteers to serve at our local FIRST robotics competitions this season. Attached to this email is a volunteer guide and below is a description of our immediate needs for the FIRST LEGO League (4th-8th grade) and FIRST Tech Challenge (7th-12th grade) events coming up this fall and winter. Volunteering with a FIRST event is a fantastic way to inspire students in our community to follow a STEM path as they consider their career choices. Events coming up in the Tallahassee area are:
October 22nd - Combined FLL Practice Event & FTC League Meet #1 at Gadsden High School, Havana
November 5th - FTC League Meet #2 at Montford Middle School
December 3rd - FLL Qualifier at Maclay School
January 7th - FRC Kickoff with possible FTC League Meet #4 at the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering
TallyRobotics is looking to build up its local volunteer force for these events. Volunteers receive breakfast & lunch along with a volunteer shirt and fun FIRST swag. Please let me know if you have any questions or trouble signing up.

Hey everyone! I am just reaching out to inquire if anyone here wants to sit on Keiser Tallahassee's advisory board for technology. Im looking to start a crimnal justice with cyber concentration, cloud computing and Health IT program(s) but we need input from the advistory board (which got smaller due to a few people leaving town). This isnt a paid position and there are no time commitments (we do honor you guys twice a year for dinner) just that you share your knowledge and input when asked. It's a good resume booster and you get to help shape the direction of our academic programming. Feel free to send me a message about or comment below!
